The Organic Kitchen: GIVEAWAY!!!!!!

I told you its a good day!  I'm so very excited to give you this book!  Perhaps your idea of fun isn't little clay pots all over your kitchen, attempting to grow something edible from your peach pit, but I think it's GREAT!  Deborah and Millicent's book, Don't Throw It, Grow It, is full of how of tips for both green thumb afficionados and dead-head gardeners alike to take kitchen scraps and turn it into a plant!  With a true waste not want not attitude, and a cool DIY vibe to boot, I think you'll be really excited to check out this book.  I also really love the retro styling and graphics throughout.  The best news yet is that you can take a copy of this book home!  You bet, one lucky person can go crazy with their kitchen experiments, all you have to do is leave a comment with your name!  The giveaway will be open for one week.  Unfortunately it is only open to residents of the USA.  I've got my own copy too, so maybe we can post some photos of our little herb and plant gardens.  A special thank you as well to the folks at Storey publishing as well for sponsoring this giveaway. Good luck!

  10. Oo, I love pots on my windowsills! My kitchen is full of sun from early afternoon till the sun sets, so this would be perfect. I've been saving seeds for ages anyway.

I have "Don't Throw It, Grow It" on my want list on Swaptree since I can't afford to buy it, but nobody is giving up their copy! LOL

I know how to plant potato eyes and make houseplants out of pineapple tops, but I didn't know there was much more you could do besides that till this book came out.
