It all started in a kitchen. Not a garage like most Bay Area startups. Of course the kitchen was the perfect place for former chemistry teacher Marie Veronique Nadeau to experiment. Fueled by a desire to age gracefully, she created a line of ecologically responsible, natural and transformative anti-aging products. At 62, Marie’s smooth skin is living proof that our products work wonders.

Like mother, like daughter. Dr. Jay Nadeau followed in her mother’s scientific footsteps, becoming a Professor of Physics at McGill University. She regularly consults with the company to integrate the best of science and nature into our products.

To market, to market. Marie quickly realized that two science geeks needed some expert marketing help to tell the world about MVO. Hillary Peterson, with 20 years of marketing experience, became a partner. As a melanoma survivor, Hillary is passionate about creating and marketing products that are safe and effective.

Science and nature have a good thing going. That’s why we pay attention to both so diligently. We use scientific studies and direct research to better understand the aging process. Then, we turn to nature to find ingredients to minimize or counter those effects.

No toxins. Not ever. At MVO what we put in our products is as important as what we don’t. You won’t find toxins, petroleum-based products, nanoparticles, or anything else that’s potentially harmful. We don’t need those ingredients to make your skin look and feel younger.

Sustaining the planet. It’s probably no surprise that our entire company is dedicated to sustainability. To make the planet a better place, we donate 10% of our profits to The Acumen Fund, dedicated to creating better opportunities for women and children in Third World countries.
